Ryan Carson
Founder, Husband, FatherRyan is the proud husband of Bethany and the father of their five amazing children. He is passionate about the Word and the Spirit, the Kingdom of God, the family unit, the development of leaders, and living a life of wholeness (body, soul, spirit). He longs to see every person take their place in God’s story and live as ambassadors that represent the King and His Kingdom.
Ryan spent his high school days in Charlotte at Providence Day School where he played 4 years of varsity basketball winning two state championships, earning all conference and all state honors in both his junior and senior seasons, and is now in the school’s Hall of Fame. He earned a Division 1 scholarship and finished his college basketball career at Furman University. Before his senior year at Furman, Ryan had a life-changing encounter with the Lord where he surrendered his life to following Jesus and making disciples ini His name He began working for Fellowship of Christian Athletes in 2004, establishing huddles in schools throughout the city. After that, he helped his mentor start Yes I Can Basketball, a city-wide basketball program, as a way to influence both children and families for the sake of the gospel. Ryan got married in 2007 and began working as a Student Pastor at a local church in the Charlotte area where he and his wife, Bethany, poured out their lives for the students and families they were privileged to serve. In 2013, they planted a church and served there for 7 years. In 2020, they transitioned away from their church and now have the unique privilege of working with their family in a full-time ministry capacity while also launching the ministry of Glory Days.
Ryan is blessed to serve both his local church and the greater Church with his teaching gifts, leadership skills, and love for family. He is convinced that God wants to move in power to usher in revival as His people hunger for both purity and power, walk in humility and confidence, and minister in the power of both the Word and the Spirit.
